Imo JUSUN Holds Successful 2019 Polls As Nnanabu Emerges State Chairman With 192 Votes

The entire registered members  of the “Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN,Imo State chapter,last Saturday, July 20th 2019,at the State High Court premises in Owerri,witnessed what all the members of the union generally described as the most free,fair, transparent and credible election exercise in the history of their union.

 

The electioneering polls was however conducted by the National Leadership of JUSUN ably led by the Returning Officer, Mr.Jimoh Musa Alonge,alongside his entourage, who are members of the National Union,among whom are:Mark Ifezue,Ochai Friday,and Ahmed A.Ahmed,as they were received,honoured and guided,directed by the Electoral Chairman of the 2019 Imo JUSUN Election,Comr.Cosmos MC.Eberendu,with the support of the immediate past Imo JUSUN State Chairman, Comr.Kenneth Chikaodinaka Aloka.

 

The out come of the election exercise was very pretty successful as the immediate past Public Relations Officer of Imo JUSUN, Comr.Ernest Nwabueze Nnanabu,was elected winner of the Chairmanship position with 192 votes,beating his four rivals with over 100 votes.

 

His chairmanship rivalries concludes:” Comr.Chinedu Confidence Opara,who got 184 votes,Comr.Paul Kelechi Nlemadim,got 99 votes,Comr.Kelechi Uzoma Nkwoada,also got 44 votes,whereas a clergyman in union who keenly contested for thesame chairmanship position, Rev.Nnawuihe Maduwuotu Anusiem,got 44 votes,as they all accepted defect and immediately drummed their respective support to the Imo JUSUN Chairman, Comr.Ernest Nnanabu.

 

More so,for the position of PRO, Comr.Chibuike Christian Ngerem,got 267 votes and defected his only rival, Comr.Anthony Onunwa,who assiduously got 257 votes.

Furthermore, Comr.Kpadobi Chinaemeze,emerged as the Union’s Auditor,and Comr.Ijeoma Nwanyibueze Olelewe,was elected as the Assistant Financial Secretary,whereas Comr.Chijioke Mgbeahuruike Ahurika,got 313 votes as the Organising Secretary, beating his opponent, Comr.Adolphus Ikechukwu Nwokorie,who got 213 votes.

 

For the Financial Secretaryship position,Comr.Kenneth Ekeanyanwu Chinoye,won his two rivals with 191 votes. The duo who contested with Ekeanyanwu are Comr. Kelvin Onyekachi Uba,who got 166 votes and Comr.Francise Nnanna,got 173 votes.

 

The Assistant Secretary position, Comr.Benadith S.C.Onyeocha,got 233 votes, and was defected by Comr.Christian Udochukwu Nwachukwu,who got a high votes of 293,and was announced as the winner.

On the Vice Chairmanahip position,Comr.Emeka Benjamin Ibeawuchi,got 232 votes,and was defected by Comr. Ijeoma Chinazor Amonu,who got the highest votes of 296 and was declared winner of the Union’s Vice Chairman.

 

Meanwhile, in his acceptance speech, the newly elected Imo JUSUN State Chairman, Comr. Ernest Nnanabu, expressed delight over his successful election exercise that brought him as the Union’s Chairman, even as he promised to elevate,unite and fight for the general welfare of JUSUN members in Imo State.

 

The Chairman, Nnanabu,further maintained that the union under his watch shall continue to add value towards the growth of it’s members.

 

He however called on all JUSUN members to remain committed and supportive to his four years tenure,even as he vowed never to let them down.

The Chairman of JUSUN called on Gov.Emeka Ihedioha to ensure that he sign for the release and payment of their unpaid three months arrears.

To the press,Comr.Nnanabu said, quote me,”I want to be recorded, Gov.Ihedioha must pay us our 3 months arrears which the immediate past Imo Government failed to pay. We must be paid,because we laboured for it.He must pay us”.
