Imo Govt. Commends Emeka Anyaoku On His 9th Lecture Series

The Former Secretary General of the Commonwealth,Chief Emeka Anyaoku,has officially launched his 9th Lecture Series on Good Governance and Book Presentation in Owerri, with the theme:”Youth and the Challenges of National Development”in Nigeria.

The epoch academic making event which attracted so many top Nigerian political moguls and leadership dignitaries on Thursday, Oct.3rd 2019,at the Art Nouveau Event Center along Owerri/Portharcourt Road Owerri,with Governor Emeka Ihedioha, as the Chief Host.

Some respected and notable persons in attendance includes:” Dr.Reuben Abati,who served as the Guest Speaker,Sen.Dr.Ben Obi,and Sen.Shehu Sani,who also served as a Guest Speaker,amongst other high repute individuals who graced the event.

The programme was however organised and powered by:Youth Affairs International Foundation

In his words, Governor Emeka Ihedioha,extolled Chief Anyaoku for his academic drives,even as he encouraged him to go on doing great things for the society.

The Imo State Governor however called on the youths to sit up and face their challenges,added that the society belongs to them.

In his contributions,the Njaba State House of Assembly candidate in the last general polls under PDP,Hon.Charles Abia,who made a very strong case for the youths called on the Federal and State Govt.to always think of the positive means of empowering and engaging the youths into a meaningful opportunities.

He commended the organizers of the Lecture Series for bringing the seminar into Imo State,even as he advised the youths to dream higher, work harder and for wisely for their liberation and financial breakthroughs,successes.

On the high level of youths unemployment, Hon.Abia,accused and blamed the govt.but more so appealed the leaders to profer tangible solutions to youths joblessness.

To Gov. Ihedioha, Hon.Charles commended the Rebuild Mission led administration aftermath of his 100 days in office,but called on the Governor to empower the youths with lucrative and viable appointments.

“Let the Imo Governor’s appointment and empowerment programmes be reflected on the youths”, he appealed.
