Imo Gov.-Elect, Ihedioha, 27 State House Members-Elects Bags Certificates Of Return From INEC Amidst Joy

As part of authenticating the governorship victory of the Imo Governor-Elect, the authority of INEC in Imo State,on Wednesday,27th March,2019 in Owerri, officially issued a Certificates of Return to all the 27 persons who won their elections for the 2019 State House of Assembly positions from across the political parties including the Imo PDP guber candidate, Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, won also won the guber polls during the March 9th general elections held in Imo State.
The issuance of the 2019 elections certificates of return was given to Chief Emeka Ihedioha,and to all the 27 House of Assembly members by the Imo INEC REC, Prof.Francise Chukwuemeka Ezeonu.
Aftermath of the certificates issued,the lucky political moguls news elected from across political parties including:”AA,PDP and APGA,while the Imo APC were unable to produce any candidate as a house member.
Moreso,there were a whole lots of jubilation galore from the three major parties especially the members of the Imo PDP who celebrated their own candidates for their victory and successes.
The Imo Gov.-Elect,Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha,in his speech at the party secretariat along Owerri/Okigwe road,expressively thanked all and sundry from the 27 LGA’s of the state for their collective voting(choosing) him as Governor during the last general elections,even as he promised to offer good governance.
“My govt.shall be all inclusive,people will be carried along according to the policy of democracy. I will run the most transparent and most accountable leadership. The masses shall benefit from my leadership and it is for the total liberation of Imo people”,he assured.
“In my administration,there shall be an open door policy. Due process and rule of law must be upheld. We must move Imo State forward. Days of impunity and imposition are history. Let’s all hands be on desk for the progress of the state. With due process,I shall ensure the regular payment of workers salaries,quality education,enabling environment for economic boom,infrastructural development shall be my paramount”,he noted.
Chief Ihedioha,therefore commended INEC and Imo people for making him Governor.
Amongst the 13 persons from the PDP who won the polls as Imo State House of Assembly Members-Elect from PDP who spoke and expressed excitement for their certificates of return includes,that of Owerri Municipal,Hon.Solomon Anukam, that of Owerri West,Hon.Kanayo Dele Onyemaechi,Hon.Chiagozie Nwaneri,for Oru-East,Hon.Philip Ejiogu,for Owerri North,and Hon.Amb.Uche Ogbuagu,for Ikeduru,others are,Hon.Obinna Eddy,for Aboh-Mbaise,and Hon.Frank Ugboma,for Oguta State Constituency.
Meanwhile,AA got 8 (eight) persons as Imo State House of Assembly members-elect and APGA got 6 (six) persons,whereas Imo APC got no seat at the Imo State Assembly during the just concluded general polls held in Imo State.
