Imo APC Sacks Guber Candidate, Uzodinma From Party Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Imo APC State Party Chairman,Hon.Daniel Nwafor,on Thursday,Jan.24th Jan.2019,in Owerri,told journalists and Imo people that the party under his watch as the chairman have expelled the party governorship candidate for the 2019 polls,Sen.Hope Uzodinma from the party due to certain inordinate and alleged anti-party activities perpetrated by him and his cohorts in the state,especially in Orlu zone.

Hon.Nwafor who spoke to newsmen through a statement from the paper release,said “Imo APC State Work Committee,SWC,has examined the processes and procedures of the sanction on the guber candidate,Sen.Uzodinma by his own ward,(Omuma ward) and as affirmed by Local Government organ of the party in Oru-East”.

The sack letter was also signed by the APC Secretary of Oru-East,Hon.Vitus Akuegbulenwa,and was acknowledged that the Uzodinma’s expulsion was duely signed from the office of the APC Chairman of Omuma ward in OruEast,Chief  Jerry Madubueze,for anti-party in Orlu zone.

“We (Imo APC) have by this notice copied to the Imo Governor,Rochas Okorocha,the Commissioner of Police,Imo State Command,the office of the Commandant,Nigeria Security and Civil Defence  Corps,NSCDC and to the office of the Resident Electoral Commissioner,Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC,and other agencies to be fully aware”,Nwafor submitted.

Meanwhile,all efforts tried to contact Sen.Hope Uzodinma proved abortive as at the press time.
