The embattled former Chief of Staff to the Governor of Imo State, Hon.Uche Nwosu’s aspiration to fly the flag of Action Alliance, AA, as guber candidate for 2019 has hit the rock again as Imo State Secretary of the party has today, Nov. 30th 2018,in Owerri, during a swift chat told journalists that the party is not aware of Nwosu’s candidature for 2019 polls.

Reacting to questions, the Imo AA scribe, Hon. Kenneth Egwim, expressed surprises at the raging media blitz especially since Thursday Nov.28th 2018 claiming that Ugwumba Uche Nwosu who dumped APC just couple of days ago has now been endorsed to contest 2019 Imo guber through the party.

The Mbano-born-State Secretary of AA party, Mr.Egwim observed that his party is not prepared to carry any luggage, moreso the Imo Sate Executive members of AA must be on the know.

Furthermore, the Imo State Chairman of Action Alliance, Hon.Uchendu.

Anthony Àhaneku (Inine-Isu Gburugburu) when contacted on phone told newsmen that he is not aware of Nwosu’s defection to his party.

He challenged newsmen to always crosscheck reports before going to the press.

Hon. Ahaneku however admitted that there is an ongoing negotiation somewhere, but insisted that no singular individual owns a party, adding that he as the State Chairman has no power to decide solely.

He reveals that it is the National leadership and BOT of Action Alliance owns the decision for Uche Nwosu to be pronounced guber candidate.

It could be recalled that 2019 Imo  Guber interest of Uche Nwosu as well as the Outgoing Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha has vowed to install his son-in-as his successor and as such the Okorocha’s have thrown the APC as well as the State into a very hot fire.
