IMAP Investigative Committee Says Institution Received N3,138,824,382,36billion As Salary Subventions From November 2021 To September 2023

The investigative committee set up by the Isa Mustapha Agwai l, Polytechnic, Lafia Governing Council has unveiled that the institution in question has received a whooping N3,138,824,382,36billion from November 2021 to date as salary subventions.
The ten-member committee report revealed that apart from the above figure, The Polytechnic also realized a total sum of N5,471,454,147,11 billion as total revenue in the last three years of the current headship under Justina Kotso.
The money in question is mostly monies realized from IMAP consult which was mounted to a whooping N159,028,601,33m IGR while the salary stands at 3,138,824,383,36.
N3,020,024,992,29 is the gross salary with an excess balance of N118,789,330,39 which was not accounted for by the headship of the Polytechnic.
The committee which was a six weeks findings revealed that the total revenue of IMAP, That is the Internally Generated Revenue is N550,880,305,00,
The committee recommended that the management should explain the wheat about N118,799,390,00m.
While the IGR generated by IMAP consultancy services stands at N159,028,600 and the total revenue in three years stands at N5,472,454,047.
The committee however in its report revealed that the Rector in the last three years spent monies above her spending threshold of N999,999,00, Giving instances of N54,002,730.25m N83,55,352.06, N85,345,821.00 which runs into N226,907,864.00m.
It was revealed that the Rector spending limit was N999,999.00 while the spending threshold of the management stood at N1,999,999,.99 and the F and GPC spending threshold stood at N2,000,000 while the Governing Council spending limit stood at N20,000,000.
The committee revealed that the revenue of April, May, June, July August was not reflected in the revenue collected, which was the core of why the acting Director of ICT refused to avail the Bursar and one other officer the password of the platform to them.
