The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the organisation of the Police Awards Night.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this known in a tweet on his X handle on Friday.
Adejobi, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, said the awards night will be held in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on January 25, 2024.
He said the intention is for Egbetokun “to honour officers with exemplary performances in the course of their duties across the country”, adding: “We have called for nominations from our commands and formations for immediate planning.
“Thanks to the IGP for this initiative of reward system.”
