Bar Labaran Magaji has confided to his teeming supporters from Nasarawa West senatorial district that he will not dump the All Progressives Congress to other political parties.
He stated this during a grand reception organized by his supporters from Karu, Keffi, Kokona, Nasarawa, and Toto, the five local governments in Nasarawa West senatorial district marking his safe return from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The aspirant urged his teeming supporters to remain calm and resolute over the outcome of the primary election held at the convocation square of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), describing the exercise as a fruitful process.
He confirmed that the primaries were marred by irregularities ranging from a doctored list of 125 delegates from Nasarawa and Keffi local governments.
Bar Labaran Magaji revealed that he discovered a list of 75 delegates from Nasarawa and 50 from Keffi is too glaring.
Adding that he will use diplomacy to reclaim what belongs to him by approaching a court of competent jurisdiction, which is a High court sitting in Abuja on June 12, 2022.
He appreciates the appeal committee for restoring the hope of the people that come out en masse to vote in his favor.
“I’m not relying on any Godfather for this struggle, but God and my people who come rain, come sunshine stand firm, the path we are following is the right path.
Appreciating delegates that were humiliated in their hotel rooms at Minki Suite, Keffi, by the multitude of delegates, especially those that were not given the chance to vote for him.
He lauded the appeal committee for the two recommendations which urged the national working committee to take urgent steps to grab the 125 fake delegates.
“The appeal committee further requested that Bar Labaran Magaji, should be given the mandate or should repeat the process, but due to time constraints be given the mandate”.
Saying he would not dump the ruling All Progressives Congress, in addition, opined that nobody will foist him to leave especially those that met him in the party.
