“I Will Reposition PDP, Chris Hassan -There Is No Faction In Plateau

Following the series of litigation rocking the People Democratic Party, PDP, Plateau State Chapter an Aspirant for the race of the chairmanship position Hon Chris Hassan has urged the aggrieved members of the party shed their sword and come together for the progress of the party victory.

 

 

Speaking to our correspondent on Thursday in Jos, Hassan expressed optimism that the party shall emerge victorious in the forthcoming bye election.

 

 

He charged Party loyalist especially those whom he said contested for the just concluded ward and LG Congresses in the state to put aside their differences for the interest of building the party.

 

According to him, as a politician we should all understand that there is winner and a loser in every contest, so we employ them to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship by tolerating one another.

 

Chris Hassan expressed willingness towards repositioning the PDP to grab power come 2023, if given the mandate; I shall rebuild confidence in the party knowing that Plateau citizens are in love with the PDP.

 

We don’t have faction in PDP, we are one because the last governorship election we had 12 aspirants but only one person emerge and the party overwhelmingly support him so this is not different.

 

The absence of the petitioner counsel at Federal High Court installed the sitting when the matter was slated for mention, he said.

 

He disclosed that PDP is well prepare for the bye election they are forever waiting for time table to kick start electioneering campaign because there are six aspirants waiting to be screen and one must be the flag bearer .

 

 

In a suit filed by the Former Member representing Langtang North Central,Hon Nandom Pyennap Exo challenging the illegal constituting of themselves into care taker committee by Hon Yakubu Chocho led group .

 

However ,its appear the constant adjournment and failures of the Justice Dorcas Agishi to grant Hon Nandom Pyennap injunction to restraining them from acting had cripple the agitation of the aggrieved group.

 

The matter which was slated for mention PDP defendant was represented by Barr Binchen Jantur, with lead counsel Barr K N Malang while the petitioner counsel was reported sick attending to his health status.

 

Justice Dorcas Agishi adjourned the case for mention and hearing to 7th October, 2020 .
