The Embattled Chairman of All Progressives Congress, (APC) ,Hon. Ishaya Itse has congratulated Former Governor Simon Bako Lalong ,Rt.Hon.Idris Ahmed Maje ,Hon .John Dafaan and Vincent Venmak Bulus as the Appeal court affirmed and returned them as the elected members of the red and green Chambers.

Speaking in an exclusive interview at Polo Rubby Club on Saturday in Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State, Itse urged the APC supporters to remain calm and resolute.

He expressed gratitude to the appeal court judges for their resilience and commitment in discharging credible, responsible judgment without favour or biased minds to anyone.

Ishaya  , After the congratulatory message charged the celebrant to know that it is not yet Uhuru, especially to those of you who are celebrating now, we still have a pending court case going on, with similar intrigue and problem of the structure facing APC for nonadherence to party guidelines.

He stated, “I remain the authentic chairman of APC so I’m calling on all those that were affirmed by the appeal court not to begin to celebrate their victory because there is a hurdle battle going on in court.

Why I’m seeking the order of the court to sack Hon.Rufus Bature and declare me the winner of the congresses that ended up with absolute endorsement of those that didn’t obtain nomination forms in Plateau state,” he explained.

According to him, in my pending suit, No, CA/J/211/2023.PLD /J300/2021 between Hon . Ishaya Itse Vs APC, Plateau’s State Committee, and Hon.Rufus Bature & 14 ors dated 9th Day of November 2023.

Counsel to, Hon.Ishaya Itse ,Dr D.Y.Danung ,Esq and B.J.Tsok filed the suit before an appeal court sitting in Jos Division to challenge, Hon. Rufus Bature, the Executive committee of APC that conducted the congresses where I ” Ishaya Itse” is saying that there was no Congress and I’m the only candidate who purchased the nomination form for the exercise in 2021 chairmanship seat “.

He stressed further that; they shouldn’t rush to embark on celebration while the case is still pending at the appeal court because what happened to the PDP might happen to the APC as a party in Plateau State.

Ishaya charged APC supporters particularly his ardent supporters group to remain calm and be supportive and loving because the court remains the last hope for the common man whom he praying to reclaim his stolen mandate.
