Former member of the CAF and FIFA Executive Committees Amos Adamu, over the weekend gained his freedom to be back in football circles following the three-year ban placed on him in 2010.
Adamu was banned by world football governing body FIFA,after he was found guilty to have sought for bribe from undercover reporters.
On his plans of a comeback to football, the former Director General of the National Sports Commission said that he is not rushing back into the game.
He also noted that he will delve into sports business rather than in administration as was the case before.
“My interest is not to rush back to the international federations, but I am delighted that my ban has expired and I am free to contribute to the development of football and sports generally in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large,” Adamu is quoted as saying on Vanguard Sports.

“My focus is different now and those expecting me to rush back to football administration would be disappointed. I want to do serious business in sports. I am now a different person. This is the new Amos Adamu.
Adamu admitted that he learnt a lot of lessons during his three-year ban, which has helped him become more wiser.
“I went through some transformations which had been worthwhile. I am now a different person wiser than before.”
