The chairman of the committee Hon. Yakubu Gumshar disclosed this during a press Conference to mark the Commencement to the exercise which will last for two weeks.
He assured that all those identify by the Committee who have relevant papers to show that deposit was made to the Board will receive a fair hearing.
According to him, the assignment giving to them is to investigate the problems leading to the deferment of 2014 intending Hajj exercise and nothing more.
The chairman further explained that “ we are not after anybody but we are only doing what the government asked us to do, and we are not thinking of robbing any individual because we don’t know what the state government will do after we gave our report“.
He said the state governor Simon Bako Lalong has made good use of his Campaign Promise to look into the Complains made by people in the state.
