In an effort to crack down on car thieves’ syndicate who stole a N3.9 million Lexus Jeep, at Polo ground in Jos, a team of Police investigators arrested one of the syndicates who posed as buyers and fraudulently sent a fake alert to the phone of Nasiru Mohammed.

It was gathered that about three car dealers selling  at Ibukun car stand in polo before the polo round were earlier arrested and taken to the, “A Division ” of the Nigeria Police Command were they spent over two weeks before  being released them base on self-recognition to avoid overcrowding  of the cell due to  the  COVID-19.

Information available to this medium revealed that Nasiru Mohammed phone was left in custody of the Nigeria Police for further investigation and the culprit who he claimed to have sent him the fake alert was apprehended few days after.

However, the information obtained from the Phone of Nasiru showed that one of the syndicates debited the three sellers with fake alert and that the information he filled is that he is an Air force officer serving in Jos.

It was gathered that on that fateful day when they came to buy the Lexus Jeep at the polo Ibukun car stand they were three of them, one wore an army camouflaged.

The family of Nasiru Mohammed are raising alarm calling on the CID of the Nigeria police investigate thoroughly what is going on, because the NAF ,were at the CID to investigate by questioning the culprit and he is still denying having the knowledge of shoddy deal .

Information filtering  shows that the Nigerian Airforce are planning to take him to NAF headquarters on Monday before bringing him which spelt doubt considering the misleading information earlier given to them during the transaction.

They car owner is forcing them to arrange on mode of payment that should be done, even though the culprit has been identified as one of those buyers, a situation which the family said they are confused and worry over the latest development.

Effort to reach the Nigeria Police Command proved abortive as the phone number of their spokesperson  was off as at the time of filling in this report.
