Hon Suleiman Kwande Donates Relief Materials To Ncha , Widow Of Beheaded Fulani’s, Seeks For Tolerance

Jos North/Bassa Federal House of Representative in Plateau State, Hon. Suleiman Kwande, has donated relief materials to the Ncha community massacre with an appeal to warring factions to shelve their swords.

Hon. Kwande on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the graveyard were mass burial was conducted and to the paramount ruler of Miango, Bra Nggwe Irigwe, Rev. Ranku Aka (retired).

Hon Kwande sympathics with the irigwe people especially the Ncha village were suspected unknown gunmen carried out the dastardly act.

He condemned the attack as described senseless and unfortunate by calling on both communities to close rank in sustaining the current peace in the state.

He begged Miango people of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State and Fulani Community to put aside their differences and work in the interest of peace in the state.

According to him, “I condemn the killing in Ncha village and called on all parties to desist from the senseless killing of innocent citizens, who have lived together in peace and harmony for several decades. I assured all parties involved in the unfortunate incident that justice shall be done to all in the interest of peace and harmony.”

He donated relief materials to the affected families in Ncha village and the widow of a Fulani man who was beheaded and buried in a shallow grave by suspected gunmen.

That Paramount ruler of Miango, the Bra Irigwe, and Rev. Ranku Aka (retired) disclosed that without peace there shall be no development in the locality and called on the natives and Fulani to desist from further attack that will lead to loss of more lives.

He said five of his subjects were arrested in connection to the beheading of the Fulani boy and the police were doing their job before the gory attacked that killed over 24 members of his community.

Aka revealed that those who carry out the attack have been forgiven and appealed to his subjects and Fulani community never to contemplate on carrying such evil attack on innocent persons and urged them to embrace peace and harmony.

Chairman Meyitty Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Bassa Local Government Area, Umar Dakare, during a separate visit, pledge the commitment of Fulani community and the natives in coming together to fight criminality in the Local Government Area.

He said any Fulani who is found committing crime should be arrested and prosecuted by the law enforcement officer and vowed that he did not know anybody in connection to the recent attack.
