Hon.  Godwin Blue Urges Nigerian Electorates To Endorse Peter Obi And Dr. Dakum For 2023

A former Supervisory Council for Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State ,Hon. Godson Blue has urged the Nigerian electorates to wisely vote for competence devoid of any sentiment attach, and credibility in order to liberate the country from the problems of insecurity, poverty, and dwindling economic misfortune facing us as a nation.

He made this disclosure during an interview with our correspondent in Jos.

Hon Godwin Blue disclosed some of the reasons why Nigerians should endorse the Presidential candidate of Labour Party and the gubernatorial flag bearer of Plateau state, Dr. Patrick Dakum in the forthcoming general elections of 2023

According to him, if you watch the way and manner of the 2023 politics there is a paradox shift completely from the normal political ways of doing things, the youth have taken the center stage of everything where the old politician must align with them to achieve success

He emphasized that Nigerians have to take a drastic decision to reposition the country and how to manage politicking for the betterment of our people

Hon Godwin Blue stressed that as an APC stalwart frankly speaking someone who has to save his life, he doesn’t think even his parents can convince him to abandon them politically, adding that Dr.  Patrick Dakum met him on a sick bed and paid off the medical bills without knowing who he was and where he is coming from, which tribe he came from if not he should have lost his legs to cancer.

He stated,” can’t imagine someone like Dr Patrick Dakum whom years back while on his visit as a commissioner sponsored to pay the bill which is N450,000.00 now equivalent to 2 million Naira as at today and today he is vying for the seat of governorship and I shouldn’t give him the maximum support that might sound bad.

Hon Godwin disclosed that since Dr Parick Dakum didn’t know him and was able to render help so is a clear demonstration that our future is safe under his leadership if voted into power come 2023.

He charged the electorates to endorse the governorship and the Presidential candidate because he said I use to dislike Dr. Peter Obi with passion when he met him during a discussion in China inside a Hotel when some Igbo people were criticizing him for refusing to grant his son an opportunity to work with his friend.

Hon Godwin noted that during the covid -19 outbreak they insulted Peter Obi that he is being harsh to his own biological children, but what Peter Obi told one of his employers is that if his son qualifies for the position go ahead and give him and if he fails, show him the next office to try his luck.

And all of us were very sad about it condemning him for such action but what is happening today that has made me understand that that is his character so we need this type of person to govern us.

Secondly, when Peter Obi won the seat of Anambra state governor the people of his community visited him at the government house and placed a request for him to develop their area but he then replied to them that I’m not the governor for my people alone but the entire people of Anambra state, he added.

He said, if Peter Obi became the President of Nigeria the Igbo might suffer more than any tribes in Nigeria because he would ensure that the business which we are into will open to everyone.

Godwin maintained that the country is in dire need of someone like Peter Obi to transform and reposition the economy of Nigeria and reduce insecurity because what gave birth to all these challenges is poverty and unemployment.

He challenged the leadership to do more in solving the challenges of insecurity and fighting poverty across the length and breadth of the country because we brothers and sisters
