The Plateau Northern Senatorial Candidate for Labour Party,(LP) Barrister Gyang Zi has condemned the wanton destruction of lives and properties in Plateau villages by unknown gunmen in Mangu ,Riyom ,Barkin Ladi, and its environs.
Speaking to our correspondent at the Plateau State High Court premises in Jos, Zi sued for the return of peaceful coexistence between the Christians and Muslims to find a lasting solution to the killings.
He said Plateau State used to be the most peaceful state in Nigeria but with the current happening but pleaded that the state needs to continue enjoying the spirit of love and understanding.
Gyang Zi emphasized that security agencies should ensure that those perpetuating this heinous act should be brought to book to face the law.
He reiterated his confidence in the Tribunal of a landslide victory and hoped that the Tribunal would do Justice to him and declare him as the winner of the 25th February 2023 general elections.
Zi pointed out that the Tribunal was slated for the adoption of a final written address where he applauded Justice William Olamide Tribunal proceedings to be impartial and deliver a landmark victory.
He also testified before the Tribunal to proof the issues of over voting and noncompliance to the electoral act including irregularities recorded during the exercise.
