The Movement For Actualization Of Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada Dreams (MAYKUD) has eulogized the positive contribution of Rt Hon Abubakar Yahya Kusada the member representing Kankia/Kusada/Ingawa federal constituency in the last one year at the green chamber of the National Assembly.
The former speaker of Katsina state who is the current Chairman of the house committee on Federal Character Commission (FCC) that is hailed from the Kusada local government area of Katsina state.
Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada has recorded the following achievements in relation to the educational development of his jurisdiction:
According to Secretary-General Hon Muhammad Aminu Bala, he said By Sponsoring online quiz competitions during lockdown that was organized by the chairman MAYKUD Engr. Ibrahim Sani Muhammad Yandoma, financial secretary MAYKUD Jazuli Sulaiman & secretary general MAYKUD Muhammad Aminu Bala Kankia and it had been carried out before and during Ramadan period on the Facebook platform across Katsina state.
Awarding scholarship to the best 2 participants of an online quiz from Kankia and Kusada as well as promising job slot to the one from Ingawa Lga despite not being a student.
Sponsoring extra lessons to the potential students of tertiary institutions across Kankia/Kusada/Ingawa federal constituency.
Provision of JAMB forms to the potential tertiary institution students across KIK federal constituency.
Sponsoring E-JAMB training to the potential tertiary institution students across KIK federal constituency.
Provision of forms to the potential students of the school of Nursing katsina across KIK federal constituency.

- Drilling of over 300 tube wells for irrigation farming in order to enhance agricultural production as well as to limit employments bothering populace of KIK federal constituency.
- Provision of over 278 pumping machines for irrigation farming purposes.
- FROM EMPLOYMENTS AND EMPOWERMENTS PERSPECTIVE
Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusa also secured federal government employment to the youths from Katsina, Funtua, Kaita, Matazu Mani, Musawa, Jibia Danmusa, Baure, Batagarawa and Malumfashi LGAs of Katsina and Zaria LGA of Kaduna.

According to him, about 300 women and children were empowered with skills acquisition equipment across 31 wards within the 3 local government areas of KIK federal constituency.

- Provision of sound systems, mats, Somers to the mosques across KIK federal constituency.
- Provision of 3 vehicles in order to ease problems of transportation experienced by people of KIK federal constituency as well as to improve security.
*COVID19 PALLIATIVES SUPPORTS PERSPECTIVE.
During Covid19 lockdown in Katsina state, two of the local government he is representing were unfortunately affected due to the fact that
cases were confirmed in their areas and he was able to donate the following provisions to the affected
LGAs in order to cushion the effect of the pandemic disease:
- 1000 cartons of spaghetti, 50 bags of maize and 20 bags of Millets to Kankia Lga respectively and,
- 1000 cartons of spaghetti, 50 bags of maize, and 20 bags of Millets Ingawa Lga respectively.
- Provisions of foodstuffs to the families of those that lost their lives during the Ramadan period.
- Provisions of foodstuffs to Imams during the Ramadan period.
*CAPITAL PROJECTS PERSPECTIVE.
In relation to capital projects development, Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada was able to record the following achievements:
- Rehabilitation of open wells for efficient water supply eg Bakin Kasuwa Kankia (Galadima A, ward), Zamfarar Doka (Tafashiya ward) Kankia, etc.
- Rehabilitation of over 230 hand pump boreholes across KIK federal constituency.
- Drilling of numerous motorized and solar boreholes across KIK federal constituency.
- HOUSE ASSEMBLY MATTERS AND HOUSE COMMITTEE AFFAIRS PERSPECTIVE.
Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada was able to records the following achievements in relation to both house of assembly matters and house committee affairs

- Sponsoring motion on flood disaster destroying several houses across KIK before honorable members as well as close monitoring NEMA’s effort on compensating the affecting households within his jurisdiction.

Prior to the emergence of Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada as chairman of the house committee on Federal Character Commission (FCC), the committee had been chaired by numerous members from all over part of Nigeria but during Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada reign, strict compliance of basic principles of FCC as well as to ensure that no single part of Nigeria is marginalized especially in the aspect of fairness and equitable distribution of public posts and socio-economic infrastructures among the various federating units of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
However, during the reign of Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada, the post of house chairman committee on FCC became very active, well functioning, and highly popular to the extent that many Nigerians begins to understand the responsibilities and powers of the chairman of the house committee on FCC.
Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada was sighted in several occasions challenging the recruitment exercises done by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) particularly those that deviated from principles of FCC so as to ensure that there are checks and balances in any ongoing or forthcoming replacement or recruitment exercises as the case may be.
For instance, he was sighted challenging VC of the University of Jos, Head of NIMASA, NEPZA just to mention a few. Consequently, those successes recorded by him can be seen as follows:
- Organizing, Chairing, and coordinating of numerous interactive meetings with MDAs concerning employee welfare, replacements, and recruitments exercise.
- Participating series of seminars in Akwa Ibom, Lagos, and Abuja.
- Insisting NNPC and co on transparent recruitment exercises.
- Ensuring that every MDAs recruit in line with principles of FCC.
- Ensuring that no single state of the federation is marginalized in terms of fairness and equitable distribution of public posts and socio-economic infrastructures among the various federating units of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Ensuring that recruitment exercises of juicy govt MDAs should be done fairly without favoring those from top government officials or first class family.
- POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT VIEWPOINT
Before the emergence of Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada as a representative of KIK federal constituency, politicians of those days believed that hooliganism, thuggery, sharing of money, and vote-buying is the only means of survival in a political career. Hence Rt Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada was able to succeed in fighting against those act through:
- Empowerment and employment transition.
- Enlightenment transition.
He does believe that teaching someone how to catch a fish is far better than be giving him fish to eat always. He learned that hooliganism and thuggery in politics are as a result of poverty and unemployment bedeviling the teeming youths, he decided to be securing jobs for educated ones and empowering uneducated ones.
May Allah Almighty continue to guide him into the right path so as to ensure those good people of KIK federal constituency as well as that of the entire Katsina state would have been benefiting from him.

It appears to be that, his constituency has never had an altruist, proficient, diligent, caring, and most performing representative since from the inception of democracy in Nigeria. Successes recorded by him within one year at the office can be categorized from the following perspectives:
