Peace mobilization group of Nigeria have caution mischief makers to toe the path of honour and leave Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro the Executive Secretary Tertiary Education Trust fund ( Tetfund) alone to enable him concentrate in his renew commitment to turn around tertiary institution in Nigeria.
This is just as it urges President Buhari not to embrace the enemies of democracy whose sole business is to truncate education policy through religious and ethnic diversity over campaign of calumny against Bogoro, but to concentrate in his good governance.
President of the group Alhaji Sani Musa made the observation while briefing newsmen in Bauchi at the weekend as he said those angling against Bogoro’s position as TETFUND boss are street touts in their desperation for power and describe the move against Bogoro as an act of disservice to the nation.
“The group is into consternation that it’s a shame the detractors of Bogoro have even gone spiritual since the dissolution of Board members of FG paratatals to ensure his ouster from office in spite of the giant stride in education sector and we warn the sponsors and their agents from Bauchi state to steer clear against Bogoro” said Musa
The President express regret that if going by the allegations that some top APC chieftains in Bauchi state have petitioned Buhari through the party to expel Bogoro from office linking him to politics is true, this development may justify them as enemies of democracy and the entire administration of Buhari whose determination is to work with credible personalities like Bogoro.
The grouped added that Nigerians are tired of the destruction made by mischief makers in nation building through the use of religious and ethnic difference to achieve their personal aggrandizement saying it is high time APC administration should ignore touts to concentrate on good governance.
However, Musa thundered that the group will not fold its arms and watch credible personalities being intimidated through politics of vendetta to the detriment of our future generations against the office of Bogoro, he said they are fully aware the detractors are agents of destruction and acting the script of their sponsors.
The president maintain that within one year of Bogoro in office, over 12,000 Nigerians have so far successfully enjoyed both national and overseas academic training from Master degrees to PHD apart from appreciative enrolment of students offered by TETFUND scholarship which was not a right, but a privilege in the past.
Musa noted that, since the dissolution of FG boards of parastatals there has been intensified campaign of calumny against Bogoro whose service is in tandem with the blueprints of President Buhari in his genuine determination to rejuvenate the education sector from the comatose state.
“We wondered that those moving against Bogoro are stack illiterate and lack the academic qualification to be given the office and suggest there are been sponsored to drink from the coup they did not deserve in line with religious and ethnic difference just because Bogoro is from Christian extraction” Musa fumed.
The group therefore urge Bogoro’s detractors to publicize his achievements for the benefits of Nigerians instead of resorting to blackmail even when they don’t have tentative evidences to support their claims linking him to politics and corruption.
