Governorship EPT Judgement: PDP Youth Coalition Cautions Party Supporters Of Intimidating And Vulgar Statement

The Coalition of Youth of the opposition political party, The People’s Democratic Party in Nasarawa State has called on religious and political leaders of the party to preach peace at all times.

The Chairman of the Coalition Daniel Agbo and Secretary, Esther Osana jointly signed a press statement which was read by the leader of the Coalition on Friday 13, October 2023. during a press conference held at the State Secretariat (Today).

The Coalition expressed concern over the way and manner religion and clannish inclination have taken the centre stage of affairs.

“We must be wary of the dark forces of religion, tribal and clannish division that is about to destroy the hitherto peaceful co-existence of the good people of the State, since the aftermath of the tribunal ruling.

The Coalition cautioned the PDP in the State to be wary of their recklessness, sentiment, and threatening remarks such as non-indigenes, they are from Borno State They have religious agenda.

Recalling the statement made by Primate Elijah Ayodele in an already trending video, openly telling the members of the Nasarawa State PDP and its candidate to seize power from Governor Abdullahi Sule at all costs This is a clear incitement against the State.

The State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule also raised alarm by telling the world that efforts are in the pipeline by some forces to remove him from office using religious sentiment, Citing the Judgement of the tribunal as one of the examples among others

The coalition averred that the tribunal has compromised for religious sentiment, describing the outcome as a shambolic ruling where out of three Judges, two are Christians and one Muslim.

They called on Judges at the appeal court to exhibit decorum and fear of God by doing the needful in the scheme of things.

According to the group, Nasarawa State is greater than an individual tribe or religion.
