The Governor confirmed this after receiving the final report of the committee on restructuring government Ministries, Departments and Agencies at the seat of power, noting that the report of the committee will assist the Economic Advisory Council towards designing a strategy for the economic growth of the State as he maintained that his administration has reiterated its readiness to restructure and reinvigorate the civil service to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy as it was obtainable before.
Engr.Sule said the elimination of obvious overlaps and areas of conflicts between agencies and ministries form some of the bases that informed the committee’s report to advise on the need to trim some ministries and agencies. The approach is a modest form of arrangement that would restructure the state civil service, which is an essential factor in successful governance
