The Executive Governor of Nassarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule,I write to commend you for your resilience and commitment especially in the area of road construction 7 years in the helms of affairs of the State.
As a practicing Journalist in Nasarawa State,You are the best Governor Nasarawa State ever produced right from military to democratically elected Governor of the State,I will repeat myself,You are the best performing Governor of the “Home of Solid Minerals”.
Like Oliver twist ,I will appeal to you to consider the plight of the people of Rukubi and other communities to addressing their first need which is the construction of Doma-Rukubi Road which was sometimes ago built by late Madaucin Doma,Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma.
The road is destroy beyond repair and that can be attributed to shabby project embark by P.W Nigeria Limited,due to the bad shape of the road the villagers preferred travelling to Rukubi to Doma by motorcycle which is more faster than going on vehicle.
Your Excellency sir,I learnt that 7 construction company bidded for the project but to this moment ,nothing was said or done about it,A stitch on time save nine.
It will be recalled that the Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government Area, Honorable.Jonathan Okuba Addra has appeal to the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule to construct Doma-Rukubi Road as he said the construction of the road will boost the socio-economic activities of the Local Government Area.
He made the call during the handing over of Army clinic by the Air force in Rukubi,the Governor gave the assurance that he will built the road before the expiration of his tenure by 29th May,2027.
Doma-Rukubi road comprises of communities of Yelwa -Ediya-Igbabu-Idadu-Okpata-Rukubi-Akpanaja-Makurdi.
