Governor Al-Makura’s APC Built Distrust, Import Foreign And Local Mercenaries To Divide Us– Ewuga By Rabiu Omaku, Lafia
Senator Solomon Ewuga, The director General, Yusuf Agabi Campaign Organization has accused the led-All Progressives Congress under the leadership of the state governor,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for building distrust, importing local and foreign mercenaries to divide the state.
The current senator representing Nasarawa North open the can of worms at a press briefing organized by the party at the state secretariat of the party, Ewuga who was indicted by the Judicial commission of Inquiry into Alakyo killings attributed corruption, brutal killings, maladministration, deceit, burning of villages, farms, raping, youth unemployment one man dictatorship and unabated skirmishes as the mainstay of APC government in the state.
Ewuga who was elected under the banner of the APC before he dumped the party to the People’s Democratic Party averred that they party lost it heavyweight which include himself, The state Deputy governor, Damishe Luka Barau and three members House of representatives due to the lack of direction of the governor whom he said rule the state as his personal dynasty.
“PDP is the only panacea to restore peace and harmony amongst the diverse ethnic groups in the state, Ewuga also accused the ruling APC in the state for hiring fake soldiers in to the state, He listed some of the Local Governments that the fake soldiers are undergoing rigorous training to include Lafia,Doma,Nasarawa and Obi respectively.
The director general Agabi campaign also alleged that the ruling party in the state has put on all machinery in place to rig next week general election in favor of their party, adding that the plans include ballot paper and ballot box snatching, He further said the state governor has committed uncountable impeachable offenses .
The PDP in the state also raised an alarm over the presence of white men at the shendam road Government House, Senator Solomon Ewuga buttressed that the two white men were hired to rig election in the state through the use of card reader, Calling on security agents to be at watch.
‘’We need explanation from governor Al-Makura what were the two white men doing at the Government House? Fiddling with computers and card readers? Why did they not visit the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Lafia? What was their mission? Why were they hidden from the people? .
The PDP described the recent return of the internally Displaced Persons to their places of abode as a fallacy meant to get publicity from outside world, ’What can a bag of cement and two sheets of zinc do a person whose house was destroyed ?.
Calling on the people of the state to remain calm and resolute during and after election, Appealing to youth in the state to eschew wanton disturbances for the interest of the state, saying the state is greater than any other individual.
The gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, Yusuf Muhammed Agabi while donation sporting facilities to members of the Sport Writers Association of Nigerian (SWAN) at the party office promise to give topmost attention to the development of sport if elected as the governor of the state.
Agabi guaranteed that the security of lives and properties would be accorded an utmost priority, describing peace as a catalyst for rapid and prudent development of every nation, while answering question promised to accord attention to employment.
He however said he would ensure the proper implementation of the new minimum wage as an account, Agabi also promised to give priority to the exploration of abandoned solid mineral to create job opportunity to the teeming youths.
The gubernatorial candidate assured that he would re-engaged all civil servants disengaged by the current APC regime under the leadership of governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura if elected into office.
