The executive Governor of Bauchi State Bala Mohamed Abdulkadir Kauran Bauchi has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for the initiative projects towards addressing the housing deficit in the country.
Governor Bala made the commendation when Board members paid him a condolence visit over the death of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Fatima Aliyu Usman in the Government House annex complex.
“We really appreciate this condolence visit from family homes, Family Homes has become a household name in Bauchi, we are very happy with you and by extension very happy with Mr. President for bringing this initiative that is reducing the housing deficit in Nigeria especially in Bauchi.”
“The project of family homes is assisting states to connect with the Federal Government in reducing challenges in the housing sector.”
The governor declared total interest and desire of his administration towards establishing more partnerships and mutual relationships with development partners for the overall development of the state.
Ambassador Muhammad Jimba who is the chairman of the group commiserated Governor Bala Mohammed over the death of his mother-in-law and described it as a great loss to the family.
On his part, the State Commissioner for Housing and Environment, Hamisu Mu’azu Shira expressed gratitude to the Board members of the family homes for the condolence visit.
Honorable Hamisu Shira said the visit is an indication of their good and mutual partnership existing between the state government and the family homes.
