Gov Al-Makura Declares Free Education, Medicare For People Living With Disability

• Nasarawa Government To Conduct Census of People of Living With Disability

Governor Umar Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa state has declared free Medicare for people leaving with disability, the Governor stated this during this year’s International day for the disables, The Governor asserted that the day mark a day of sober reflection considering the enchantment people with disability are passed through.

He appealed to all office holders in the state to ensure a total inclusive of other categories of people especially the physically challenged persons in the state in the scheme of things, during the occasion he also declared free education for people with challenges.

Al-Makura said topmost priority would be accorded to physically impaired persons for them to have a sense of belonging, He however asserted that machineries would be adopted to ensure that census of people with disability is conducted in the state.

“People with disability are my immediate constituency and for that greater premium needed to lessen their plight which is a nightmare to me”Saying there is ability in disability.

He further said all bills of Medicare of people with disability would be settled from Government coffers while automatic employment given to physically challenge with Diploma certificate, He added.

“I’m making this declaration that all disengaged disable persons be re-engaged into the service of the state Government, and in any case if there is any hiccups they concerned authorities should write to us officially to make amends, said Al-Makura.

“The state Government established the Ministry for Special Education ,Science and Technology with the sole aim of tackling the plight of people with side defects, Preparation are on top gear for the commissioning of Special Schools for people with disability,” The occasion mark a group picture by Governor Al-Makura and the physically impaired.
