MSGAMAWA
It appears that the 2016 June leaked internal memorandum (plan to replace Gidado come 2019) revived so many questions. Abubakar is now forced to go on annual leave to comfort Gidado as he is obviously tormented by the fear of unknown and unable to guarantee the existence of his people. 2015 surprise victory might not repeat itself come 2019, Commoners decides and God knows the brightness of the future.
Could sycophancy be defeated? The Abubakar I know (who always beat his chest on that finite throne to be GOVERNOR) wouldn’t voluntarily go on annual leave as the news claimed. I remember how his so called ‘money-turned’ blabbermouths described his inhumane actions in the then times. “The governor has developed interest in weekly globetrotting to squander scarce resources under the guise of pursuing foreign investors and other unsubstantiated claims and maintains a large convoy of aides and overzealous security personnel that add no value to the progress of the state in his style of proving to the ignorant that he is in-charge. A governor without a ray of achievements deserves no respect and trust from the people. All we hear from the government side are lies from parochial liars and empty promises packaged and disseminated to confuse not to convince the people”. But alas, the terror of poverty and sycophancy consumed them to make the darken days brighter and feather their own nest.
Gov Abubakar’s underperformances might be in line with his willingness to break a record from frying-pan to fire knowingly. His restless urge for supremacy of power sinks APC to prophet of woe in Bauchi state. I’m still optimistic with no regret, that as long as people keep trying to break records, records will still be broken. As Ambassador of Peace and true Son of Bauchi state, I see 2019 as a year of excellence. Only God knows the unknown, it might be a campaign played out against the backdrop of terror. For the start it may prove a pyrrhic victory under your watch. In the end, there’s a sense that anything is possible, so long as intellectual sagacity remains the factor.
Stay tune on why Gov Abubakar should not be reelected come 2019…
