Gang Of Kidnappers Abducts Two Persons, Kills One In Jigawa

The Gung of suspected kidnappers have killed a 25 years old boy and abducted the wife and her son belong to the family of Alhaji Abubakar  Kawo village in Birnin Kudu local government of Jigawa state.

 

Confirming the incident, the Spoke person, Jigawa State Police Command, ASP Zubairu Nuruddeen said on 17/3/2021 at about 0325HRS the police at Birnin Kudu received a report that unknown persons attacked the house of one Alh. Abubakar, 50yrs of Kawo, Birnin Kudu LGA.

 

“The suspected kidnappers were reported to have shot one Sabo Yusuf, 25yrs who was rushed to the hospital and confirmed dead as a result of gunshot wounds in his chest.”

 

“The suspected criminals also abducted the wife and son of Alh. Abubakar and took them to unknown distinction.”

 

The Police Spokesman added that the Command has deployed officers of the Anti-kidnapping unit to Birnin Kudu area to ensure the rescue of the kidnapped victims and arrest of the suspects.”

 

He added that the Police Command is assuring members of the public that, Birnin Kudu and Jigawa state is relatively calm, as the measure has been put in place to ensure people go about their lawful business.

 

The Command also calls on members of the public to be more vigilant and report any suspicious movement to any nearest Police station.
