Jigawa State Government To Strengthen Relationship With ITF

Jigawa State Government said it would strengthen its existing cordial working relationship with the Industrial Training Fund.

The State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila made this known when he received the Management of the Industrial Training Fund, Kano Area office, led by the Area Manager Malam Qasimu Abubakar.

Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila said Jigawa State Government is aware of the full capacity of the Industrial Training Fund particularly to the workers that have been trained in terms of their skills.

He stated that Jigawa State Government attached great importance to the training and retraining of its workforce, adding that it will not relent in its effort towards making the State Civil Servants more active through regular training and retraining thus improving their capacity and productivity.

Earlier, the Kano Area Manager of the Fund, Kano Area office, Malam Qasimu Abubakar told the Head of the Civil Service that they were in his office to brief him about the activities of the Fund.

He said Industrial Training Fund was established to provide, promote and encourage the acquisition of skills in Industry and Commerce with a view to generating a pool of indigenous trained manpower sufficient to meet the needs of the private and public sector of the economy.

The Area Manager explained that the Fund has trained Nigerian workers across the Country and has yielded a lot of positive results.

Malam Qasimu Abubakar requested the Jigawa State Government to partner with the Fund to train Jigawa State Manpower.
