Former National Vice Chairman North-Central Passes  Vote of Confidence On Governor Sule

The immediate past National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, The APC, Suleiman Wambai has passed a vote of confidence in Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule for effecting total commitment to democratic governance in the State.

He disclosed this during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists at his abode along Jos road, Lafia.

He salute the courage of Governor Sule for bringing all the aspirants that contested with him during the party primaries that ushered him as the democratically elected Governor of the State.

Hon. Suleiman Wambai said in spite of the financial quamire the State is facing , the Governor have exhibited maturity in completing all abandoned projects initiated by past Governor’s of the State.

The former National Vice Chairman said key projects ranging from the multi billion naira cargo airport in Kwandare, the completion of township roads in Lafia, the State capital like the ongoing Kilema-Rice mills road, Al-Makura street as well completion of hospitals and clinics.

In the area of security of lives and property,the national officer said the Governor is moving faster in a slow way,He stated that Governor Abdullahi Sule is taking advantage of the Community Based and Conflict Resolution initiated by the former Governor,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura to combat security challenges in the State.

“Saying,when there is no peace every indices of livelihood perished”.

While commenting on what the public described Engr.Sule as one tenure Governor,Suleiman Wambai kicked against the one year tenure sparked by some quarters in the State.

Speaking on abandoned projects, completing and naming after those that executed the projects ranging from the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet hall, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura New Presidential Lodge, the former National Vice Chairman said it was at the right direction.

“Doing so would encourage other Governors to do more during their time, Adding that we have a project ongoing outside Lafia and if completed it will be named after Senator Abdullahi Adamu”.

“Why are they saying is a one tenure Governor, is it because he completed abandoned projects ?,was his effort not okay for making Nasarawa State a safe haven for investors ?

Commenting on his aspiration to be the national chairman of the APC, Hon. Suleiman Wambai, He strongly said he did not have any zeal to vie for the seat of the national chairman of the party.

“Is not true,and is not possible for the president and the national chairman to come from the same zone,The president is from North-East ,so the seat of the national chairman automatically is not for the north.

Fielding question on Nasarawa-Central bye-election come August eight,2020, he maintained that the All Progressives Congress would witness a landslide victory in the election.

“There is no political party that would stand the ruling APC in Nasarawa State, PDP is now a thing of the past in the politics of our dear State”.

“Without  missing any step, The PDP are noisemakers calling themselves a political party”.

Appealing to the teeming supporters of the party to rally round their candidate come 8 August, 2020.
