Former Deputy Speaker Urges Security To Step Up Efforts In Controlling Killings In Plateau

The Former Deputy Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly and Member Representing Jos North-North Constituency ,Hon Ibrahim Baba-Hassan has urged the security in Nigeria to step up their effort in bringing down the spark of killings in Plateau State and consolidate in building confidence in the state.

 

Speaking to Journalists at the NUJ, Plateau state council on Wednesday, Baba-Hassan reiterated the need for the security to safeguard the lives and properties of citizens.

 

He condemned deadly attack on innocent citizens by unknown group were over 200 people lost their loved in Riyom ,Barkin Ladi and Jos South local government areas of the state .

 

Hassan frowned at situation that children and women are also killings without any unprovoked cause as they are not responsible cattle rustling.

 

According to him, the security should have been kept a brace with information available to them that the herders storm the communities and nothing was done to curtail the dastardly act.

 

He described the killing as unfortunate and barbaric in a state like Plateau were peace is gradually returning to the state but some disgruntles elements took advantage to unleash terror on them.

 

The Former Deputy Speaker explained further those who want to perpetual crime against fellow human being should understand why God created us to serve him.
