Fish Out And Prosecute Political Thugs, Plateau Deputy Speaker, Yipmong Tells Plateau Security Personnel

The Plateau state Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong has called on security personnel to arrest and prosecute all political thugs who have gone on a rampage destroying, maiming innocent people in Nigeria.

The member representing Dengi constituency advocated for in order to curtail political killings of people during and aftermath the electioneering campaign held in Kanam, Pankshin, Langtang and Kanke LGAs in Jos.

According to him, he said it is a voice of reasoning, however, “I expect this kind of leadership touch long before now immediately after the unfortunate event that led to the destruction of our million naira multi-purpose hall and a crackdown on the partisanship of all our security heads whose under their watchful eyes those miscreants gathered heaped of stone and sticks for the operation, without any security check the cankerworm and scandalous aspects of their partisanship was when they all conspired and signed result sheets.

Yipmong lamented that “I expect this body and any other sister organization in Kanam to prosecute this matter for deterrence, the freedom of information law is there to help set this stage in motion”.

He disclosed further,”As youths and leaders of our society we must act promptly and just to safeguard our future and the future of the unborn generation”.

“We must demand the unmasking of the dark horses and the prophets of doom behind the destruction of our multi-million naira edifice, let there be an inquiry committee, as leaders and lawyers we must talk tough and come hard to correct the ill of the society, no doubt we will fail to be the lights in our little ways if we remain aloof in this situation and posterity will judge and point at us in a bad light, it will be a serious tragedy if we allowed it to go unpunished”.

Rt Hon Yipmong explained that this is a wake-up call to youth council, KADA, Bogghom Development Association, Khimphi development association, JHAR development association NULGE, NUT, NBA.

He warned that any other interest group in Kanam to raise their voices in defense of our dear society, enough is enough for this will not be condoned in say Pankshin, Langtang, Shandam to mention just very few but our voice must be heard through legal means which is the international best practice anywhere.
