Justice Dorcas Agishi of Federal High Court Jos, Division Holden in Plateau State on Wednesday adjourned to 15-10-2020 for ruling on preliminary objection (PO) raise by the defense counsel, Barr M.K.Mallen.
In a suit filed by the Former Member Representing Langtang North -North at the Plateau state House of Assembly, Hon Nandom Pyennap Exodus challenging Hon Yakubu Chocho, People Democratic Party, and National Secretariat of PDP headquarters.
Barr Mallen who told the court that the matter was slated for hearing on the suit but when they arrived at court this morning he found out that the file was cross and minuted transfer to Abuja, High Court.
Mallen raised an objection to the transfer of the matter without following the due processes without the defendants knowing, the counsel says they are not aware of such development in respect of proceedings.
Counsel to the 1st ,2nd, and 3rd defendants have a complaint that the plaintiff ambush tactics would not help considering the movement of file exhibited.
Meanwhile, it was gathered by this medium that plaintiff Hon Nandom Pyennap Exodus didn’t just move the file but owning the long vacation of all the Federal judges so they want the continuation of the hearing to proceed without any hitches.
However, now the Federal Judges in Plateau state have resume sitting the matter would be heard in Division.
