One of the chairmanship contestants for the office of the Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council in 2016 in Abuja under the platform of ruling party All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Adamu Abari has promised to give more priority to equity and fairness if elected chairman Abuja Municipal Area Council comes 2016 in the FCT Abuja.
In an interview with journalists in Abuja Hon. Abari stated that what motivated him to contest for the position of chairman in the municipal council include youths and women empowerment in order to move the nation economy forward if elected.
Hon. Abari said he wants to contribute his wealth of experience to the development of the nation politics.
He expressed worry over the high level of unemployment especially to Nigeria Youths which he said it also contributed to our nation challenges.
Hon. Abari also decried the decay of our education sector which he appeals to the federal and state government to do something urgent in order to address the situation. Abari said he will provide scholarship for students in the municipal area council in Abuja if elected chairman.
Hon. Abari said he decided to contest chairmanship position under the platform of ruling party APC because of its good manifesto, face of hope, internal democracy and quality leadership style of the founding father of the party.
