Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has announced the emergence of the former Lafia Local Government Chairman, Suleiman Wambai as the party flagbearer for the position of National Vice Chairman North-Central zone.
The governor buttressed this while addressing the State Executive of the ruling All Progressives Congress at Government House, Lafia when they paid him a Sallah homage.
He called on APC members to conduct them in the scheduled Saturday Congress.
“Hon. Suleiman Wambai is our candidate for the slot of National Vice Chairman North-Central”.
In same vain, the present Chairman of the party, north -Central zone, Hon.Zakari Idde in a Sallah message said he has the intention to recontest for the seat.
The governorship aspirant emphasized on the need for zoning of governorship seat to Nasarawa North senatorial district.
“Zoning is of paramount importance for the sake of brotherliness describing the exclusion of the party from zoning as quit unfortunate.
Idde stated when selected Journalists paid him a Sallah homage at his abode in Nasarawa Eggon.
The party governorship aspirant emphasized on the need to shift power to Nasarawa North senatorial district.
“Shifting the governorship seat to Nasarawa North is a good Idea which must be emulated by the leadership of APC”.
