Bala Babangida a hardened criminal who specializes in employment racketeering met his waterloo when he was arrested by the men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp.  The former Army personal who was dismissed was paraded by the Nasarawa state command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corp.

The state commandant, Bashir Lawal Kano during a briefing averred that the criminal was arrested by the intelligent Department of the NSCDC three days ago in Doma Local Government.

Babangida was nabbed in possession of fake university certificate, secondary school certificate, police identity card, bank deposit and withdrawal booklets, as well as list of victims he duped.

The state commandant, Lawal Kano affirmed that Bala Babangida was apprehended for duping over 27 persons who paid him  over N3 million to assist them in securing employment.

“According to the commandant, Babangida attested that he was dismissed from the Nigeria Army over fraudulent activities perpetrated by him.

“He specialized in advertising job opportunities, this single habit lead to the death of Reverend Daniel Agbuna of World of God Church, Lafia since March this year”.

The Daughter of the late Reverend Daniel Agbuna while fielding questions by Journalists said her father died of heart attack following the duping of N3 million from him, by the fraudster.

Deborah said Bala and unidentified person claiming to be the Oga of the fraudster are in this together.

She said the arrested Babangida is collecting the following amount for fake appointment.

Immigration Service N100, 000

Custom Service N150, 000

Nigeria Army N50, 000

“He was parading himself as an army, extorting money with the sole aim of given them genuine offers.

Bala Babangida in a confessional statement attested that he was dismissed from Nigeria Army for extortion of money from his victims.
