Reducing the teeming unemployment level amongst young people in Imo State for service to nature and humanity, a well known business mogul in Nigeria,High Chief Sir.Benneth Okorie,the Chief Executive Office/Managing Director of Empire Energy Super Mega Filling Station,last Saturday,May 25th 2019,officially commissioned one of his newly built companies in Owerri.
The Commissioning and Grand Opening Ceremony of the station at Naze,along Owerri/Aba road,was ably successful as the Imo State Governor,Rochas Okorocha,played host.
In an address by the CEO/MD,Empire Energy,Chief Okorie,expressed delight and satisfaction to establish another station for the people of Imo State.
“We have been into the business of oil and gas industry for the past 23 years. Now our newest Super Mega at Naze Owerri has 100 nozzles (pumps),with the staff strength of 700 workers,still employing,about 10 million liters capacity of depot. Energy Empire Ltd.has developed strong partnership with NNPC/PPM and other major independent petroleum marketers. We wanted to build more than a fueling station. It’s one of my biggest companies in the country aimed at reducing unemployment amongst our teeming jobless children”,says Chief Okorie.
The CEO/MD therefore thanked all Imo people especially the people of Naze Owerri for their show of love and cooperation.
He commended the outgoing Imo Governor,Rochas Okorocha for supporting and encouraging him to invest and in acquiring the land,even as he described Okorocha Rochas as number one,the best Imo Governor and a real rescuer through his Rescue Mission Govt. I am using this opportunity to appreciate Gov.Rochas.
Chief Ben Okorie,however called on other well-meaning Imolites to come down to invest as investors for the growth of the State,even as he described Empire Energy as a big company with multiple services.
Some of the services from the station includes:”supply of unadulterated petroleum products,specializes in the supply of petroleum products to industried,corporate offices,schools,hospitals,govt.offices,network service providers as low as 1 litre to a full truck”.
Commissioning the station,Gov.Rochas Okorocha,recalled 7 years ago there where underdevelopment in Imo State before his govt.when he lifted embargo on job,factory,employment for all well meaning individuals to begin investment in the land of Imo instead of running to overseas.
He described the activities of Chief Okorie as a bold-right steps in the right direction for the growth of the State.
To Chief Okorie,Governor told him to request for more land on or before the end of his 8-year-tenure on May 29th 2019,so that land would be given to his for more industrialization.
The Governor moreso bestowed an award of “Dean Order of Imo,DOI”to Chief Okorie,as part of honouring his giant strides towards the development of the state,that his names are now written in the book of Imo Hall of Fame,as an industrialist.
Gov.Rochas,therefore boasted that he has made Imo State one of the fastest growing states in Nigeria within his 8 years stay as Governor.
To Imo people,”what you are looking for at Lagos,Abuja,Abroad is now here in Imo. Era of travelling outside Imo are gone. I succeeded as Governor with vision and passion. I was able to develop Imo with leadership sagacity and divine wisdom”,Rochas revealed.
He further bemoaned some Imo politicians saying that 90% of them does not have any single address.
“It was very difficult removing Eke-Ukwu Owerri Market but with I succeeded with height of sacrifice”,Rochas submitted.
