Eastern, South-South Assembly Express Confidence In Gov Lalong Record Of Developmental Strikes

A group of Elders from the South-South and Eastern part of Nigeria have described the leadership of Plateau state Governor Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong visionary with track record of achievement.
They admonished that plateau state has witnessed so many events in 2016 particularly in the area of sustenance of peace and security, clearance of backlog of workers’ salaries, pensioners among other issues.
The spokesman of the group, Dr Faith Onyema congratulated the members of the plateau state House of Assembly led by the speaker, Rt Hon Peter Azi and the chairman Joint Traditional council of Chiefs Gbong Gwom, His majesty. Elder Jacob Gyang Buba, management Committee Chairman Jos South Local Government, Hon Pwekin for Their contributions in various ways which include sustaining the traditional institution through creating a harmonious relationship within the tribes on the plateau.
Onyema appealed for the support of other traditional fathers to ensure that APC government deliver on it campaign promises to the State.
He assured the government and good people of plateau state of Igbos support through economic empowerment called on all ethnic communities in the state to join hands together in lifting the good image of plateau by engaging in meaningful ventures that will bring an end to the economic recession been experienced
Chief Dr ONYEMA also drew the attention of the public on the news making the rounds by some mischief makers who is claiming double tittle of Eze Igbo and Onyendu as one is false.
‘I wish to state here categorically that Eze Igbo and onyendu are two different Tittles and that l was elected onyendu Ndi Igbo by the Igbos in Jos South under the umbrella of Igbo Cultural and Welfare Association (ICWA) under the Leadership of Chief Samuel Achi(orgadagada) and my Tittle onyendu is recognised and commanded by the apex body of Igbos (ohaneze), he said anybody wishing to lead Igbos in diaspora should go by the tittle of leader onyendu.
He recalled that recently in akure in ondo state and Ibadan in oyo state these issues has brought untold hardship, conflict and has pitched Igbos against the owners of the land, henceforth only the tittle of onyendu should be used.
He called on members of the public to disregard any of such information but rather corporate with Their him chief Faith ONYEMA as the onyendu Ndi Igbo in Jos South and warned them not to be deceived by any person or group who has no good intentions for the good and loving Igbos In Jos south.
