With the recent political brouhaha that surrounded the PDP in Adamawa state, by ousting the leadership of the party under Chief Joel Hammanjoda Madaki,reading in-between the minds of the aggrieved officials, it will only going to be a very good omen to All Progressive Congress,APC as they anticipate a mass exodus of people from the Madaki faction (aggrieved) to look for a better party to pitched their tents. Already the 20 lawmakers out 25 are thinking for an alternative of defecting to APC
A youth group under the auspices of Dr Halilu a choice of hope today in a press conference held at the organization secretariat, says their candidate is the only hope of their people in the 2015 senatorial elections, no matter is will be contesting or who will be defecting to the party.
The flag bearer of the group Mr Istifanus Marcus, who is from Yale North described Halilu as a detribalized person who does not condone any form of sentiments be it religious, sectional and even tribal.
“If only the people of Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone and other aspirants jostling to be our senators they will not even waste their time in computing with him, because is good and fit for the job, I pray they will see the good virtue that is in Halilu. ” Istifanus said
“Is our hope now and we believe he will get there to better our lives with his good initiatives that we have known him with, to create good laws for the good people of Nigeria as whole” he added
