Dr. Adamu Aliyu Commends Mutfwang For A Hitch Free Reps Primary Election

The Member Representing Jos North North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon Adamu Aliyu has commended the peaceful conduct and hitch-free elections under the able leadership of  Governor Caleb Mutfwang for the Bassa /Jos North Federal Constituency.

In an exclusive interview with our correspondent on the ongoing House of Representatives election for the seat of Jos North/Bassa on the phone, Dr Adamu Aliyu expressed satisfaction with the committee’s conduct.

“It would be recalled that over 14 aspirants purchased nomination forms to contest the seat in Jos North/Bassa Federal House of Representatives.

“According to him, seven aspirants have already stepped down, indicating that they’re not ready for the primary across the 14 federal wards of Jos North and 12 Federal wards in Bassa LGA, which is a clear victory for the APC after the consensus couldn’t yield any positive results”.

Dr Aliyu applauded the turnout of voters and official registered card carriers of the  All Progressives Congress (APC), which had increased drastically during the accreditation exercise.

The constituents lauded the House of Assembly Member in large numbers in a show of solidarity in favour of Aliyu, to the Speaker, Hon. Daniel Nanlong, represented by the House Chief Whip, Hon. Dalyop Isaac Gyang, alongside Hon. Joe Bukar of Shendam constituency.

Hon. Aliyu demonstrated quality legislative leadership and responsive representation going around the 14 federal wards within the Jos North LGA.

He urged the people of the council to shun politics of bitterness and embrace peaceful coexistence amongst them during and after the primaries that is peaceful conducted.

Aliyu described the Saturday Rep seat election in the council as a process of democratic journey to build a foundation for democracy to thrive in Nigeria .

He disclosed that despite our political differences in religion and culture, we have all agreed to put aside our differences to embrace unity and oneness.
