Don’t Take Nigeria Delegation Serious, Group Tells UN

The Middlebelt Association for Protection of Internally Displaced Persons ( MAP) has asked the United Nations General Assembly not to listen to the Nigeria delegation to the UN.

The president of the group Dr. Titus Musa told journalists on Thursday in Lafia, Nasarawa state capital that the federal government delegation is going to the UN to advertise their lies which is the symbol of president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

“UN should ask the federal government delegation if they have visited Benue state IDP camps, Plateau state IDP camps, Taraba state IDP camps, Southern Kaduna IDP camps, and Nassarawa state IDP camps. Buhari delegation visited only IDP camps hosting Muslims in North East and North West. This is a Fulani proponents government,” he said.

He alerted the UN that the Buhari’s government is not only out to annihilate Christians in the Middle belt, but it has recruited some of his political appointees in the region like senator George Akume to systematically organized the second phase of genocide in the Middle belt.

Musa said that the delegation should explain to UN General Assembly why the federal government has released over N6 billion naira to his home state Katsina for ranching and he is insisting on open grazing in the middle belt and southern Nigeria.

He pointed out that the open grazing policy which was outlawed by the middle belt states and southern Nigeria is designed by Buhari’s government to use Fulani jihadists to depopulate the middle belt and southern region.

” UN Should ask the federal government delegation why Benue state that started the ranching policy was not given money for ranching, but his home state Katsina that initially opposed ranching is being funded to commence ranching, “he said.

Musa added, “UN should demand the statistics of the relief materials distributed to the displaced person in the Middlebelt region and North East region and North West region the statistics will confirm that Buhari’s government is anti-Christians”.

He said that the UN should contact their sister agencies in Nigeria to confirm what Buhari’s government is doing against the Christian majority in the country.
