Doma APC Chairmanship Candidate Restore Transformer Amidst Jubilation

People of Dadinkowa in Sabon Gari electoral ward in Doma Local Government Council of Nasarawa State have passed a vote of confidence on the Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Architect Ahmed Sarki Usman for restoring 90 Days blackout.

 

According to Saidu Wambai says “Functioning, robust democracy requires a healthy, educated, participatory followership and an educated, morally grounded leadership, This best explained the qualities of Hon  Sarki who before his election into the office of Chairman has exhibited some of his leadership qualities.

 

Wambai described the Chairmanship candidate of the APC as a messiah of the people of Dadinkowa who were plunged into darkness for over ninety days due to the vandalization of four armour cables from a transformer Installed opposite Doma Local Government Secretariat.

 

Saidu whose abode shared boundary with the vandalized transformer eulogies Sarki for the show of maturity by bringing succor to the people.

 

“We have well-to-do personalities including the current Member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly sharing this very transformer with their houses but no contribution comes their way.

 

We are missing the likes of Honorable Mohammed Okpede who would swift in action any time a complaint of vandlzation was brought before him”.

 

He called on the electorate to shine their eye and vote credible representatives that would add value to their constituents.

 

Also speaking, A Chairmanship aspirant in the just concluded Primary election, Honorable Danlami Umar Abdullahi appreciated the party candidate for restoring the transformer vandalized for barely 100 days of total darkness.

 

“We the people of Dadinkowa have no cause to reject Ahmed Sarki Usman as Chairman of the Local Government come October 6, 2021, Council election”.

 

The candidate in his speech called on the beneficiaries of the vandalized transformer to safeguard the transformer and other electrical installations.

 

He assured the people of Dadinkowa that he would not be tired to restore any transformer vandalized.

 

He warned vandals to turn a new leaf or face the full wrath of the law, stating further that any person caught would never go Scot free.

 

Ahmed Sarki Usman said his administration if clinch the Chairmanship position come October 6, Local Government Council election, he would consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor, Honorable Rabo Sani, and the incumbent administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule.

 

In a related development, The Chairmanship candidate in a bid to avert flooding along the Catholic church road has embarked on the desilting of drainages.

 

Hon. Ahmed Sarki Usman said the steps taken are to mitigate flooding along the road, He disclosed this during an inspection of the site shortly after the replacement of the four armour cables along Lafia road.

 

Sarki said what he has done was just a litmus test of his foresight in times of dividend of democracy to those that voted him to power.

 

Architect Ahmed Usman as of press time did not disclose the amount spent on the restoration of the transformer and desilting of drainages.
