The Deputy Speaker House of Representative, Rt.Hon. Ahmed Idris Maje Wase has said, his constituency had received more federal government presence under the All Progressives Congress, APC, than any of the administration since the return of democracy in Nigeria.

Speaking to our correspondent on the phone while responding to allegations of nonperformance, abandonment, and neglect to his constituents, Wase debunked that the allegations saying is baseless and lack credibility.

He said the tremendous development taking place in Wase federal constituency is something else, “I have proved to all my detractors in Wase wrong with the overwhelming support and projects going on “, he stressed.

Hon Maje Wase explained that as a middle political leader, I have done enough by introducing meaningful projects and programs in North-Central to stimulate growth and development to attract investors which is still ongoing.

He disclosed that the allegations are coming from the opposition whom he said they lack what to confront him with it, but they are blackmailing his integrity, so they resorted to cheap propaganda of reducing themselves to mere thugs and jesters.

Wase refuted that he never flagged-off Angwan Rimi road construction but he introduced many ongoing roads network in Plateau state which is close to completion in the state.

The member Representing Wase Constituency in the House of Representative in plateau State, Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Wase is currently in the eyes of the Storm as his Constituency Wase accused him of total neglect and abysmal failure as a representative.

Speaking to the opposition leader Dahiru Dauda says, to my understanding and the information available to us, the Member representing us could only start 2 streets, also road in Duwei, Kumbur, Salwai to Wase all interred and primary school renovation in Kadarko district.

Dauda explained further that, as the people of Wase accused Deputy Speaker Idris Wase of total negligence and abandonment of his constituency despite the overwhelming support accorded him to represent them at the lower chamber in the National Assembly.

However, Ahmed is the fourth-time member representing Wase the most vulnerable and rural Communities in Plateau state yearning for road networks to link them with the national grid and other development connecting the other Communities.

The people have raised concern over the recent flag-off road construction at Angwan Rimi Area of Jos North Local Government of the state where they alleged neglect of his constituency devoid of the road network.

It was gathered that the APC and the opposition party in Wase are complaining bitterly

that they have been sidelined and abandoned by their member Ahmed Wase for not considering some of the road network connecting Wase and the surrounding Communities like Wase to Lamba Wakkat district, including Wase the Council’s headquarter.

It’s also alleged the only project Hon Maje attracted to the community was that of Jarmai through Bashar to Taraba state which the member says; over 75 billion projects if completed would touch the lives of Wase positively.

They added that the road construction from Bashar to Wase became an abandoned project under the Deputy Speaker’s watch.

Our correspondent investigation revealed that when Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara was the leader of the House of Representative, representing Tafawa Gbogoro constituency in Bauchi State, the people of Plateau state enjoyed a road network linking the two states, plateau and Bauchi state.

And Rt. Hon Yusuf Gagdi is a first-timer yet his projects and people-oriented projects have impacted positively

The Constituents stressed that the whole development is now in limbo under the watch of Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Maje as the Constituent vowed to vote the APC out of power especially the unproductive leadership of Rt Hon Ahmed Wase.
