The Ministry for Sports and Youths Development, Barr. Solomon Dalung has called on federal and states government to promote the culture of love rather than going to army barracks to employ soldiers in trying to resolve our differences in culture and behavior which so rich to accommodate each other’s diversity.

He said the cultural celebration is part of African people to celebrate planting season and end of the year which Beroms Nation demonstrated that their peaceful deposition to other ethnic nationalities to emulate them.

Hon Dalung disclosed this to journalists at the Rwang Pam stadium venue of the Nzem Berom 2019 international on Friday in Jos.

According to him, this is the period were African tradition seek the face of God to advance the core value of the significance is to offer peace as festivals like that offer African opportunity to celebrate with the community before proceeding to the farming season as the rain set in..

Dalung stressed that it was discovered that before the coming of European to Africa they have met African already interfacing with God which place Berom as the most peaceful people around the world today.

The Berom are found to be existing in Bauchi, Kaduna with rich cultural heritage and good weather that can grow all types of vegetables, fruits that can be seen across Europe if cultivate today it boost the economic well-being of their people.

Hon Minister urged Plateau State Government to go back to the history of Plateau crisis because they state had fought several battles before the recent incessant attacks in the state, Adding, we most empower traditional institution to provide protection to the people of Plateau and its environs.

He also commended the Governor Simon Lalong in using modesty method to bring back peace urging people shun all their differences and respect each other to live together for peace to return.

Dalung said that civil servants in local governments should deploy each staff to work in his or her local governments of origin because most conflicts arose as a result of land grabbing system where workers abandoned their local governments to pursue land in the city which sparks killing.

Dalung appealed to the return of traditional rulers to help engage and ensure that peace and stability return to the state, also to provide information about people who come into the state as we want to see the return of clubbing and cinema.

According to Dalung, we should all go back to farming and boost agriculture which Mr. President is working hard to promote the food security in Nigeria.

He pledged that the government should organize stakeholders meeting to address the plight of internally displaced persons including the orphan who are in various camps across the state.

I see genuine agenda employ by the Berom in encouraging peace and love by calling on other ethnic groups to emulate and recognize togetherness.
