The Management of Dalhatu Araf Specialist hospital, Lafia has taken a stringent measure to curb the rising spate of coronavirus pandemic by abolishing the clustering of patients at pay points.


This was contained in a press statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Deborah Dangara and made available to Journalists.

The statement buttressed that no more clustering of patients or relatives at pay points and laboratory reception.


The press statement further revealed that necessary arrangements has been put in place to provide waiting points by the management.


The management of the hospital called on health seekers visiting DASH to abide by the coronavirus protocol of social distancing and the use of hand sanitizers, soap and water.


The hospital further explained that the holistic measure taken was to reduce the spread of the virus


The hospital said certain health measures have been put in place for the safety of patients, their relatives and staff of DASH.


The statement averred that wash hand basins and liquid soaps are in strategic places around the hospital premises for use, saying the use of  facemasks before gaining entrance into the hospital is compulsory.
