As part of her continues efforts towards constant preaching against the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in Imo State, the Imo APC Woman Leader, Hon.Chief Mrs.Josephine Nnoham, aka Madam Sososo ( Mama Social), on Thursday, June 4th 2020,advised women to continue to stay safe and protected against Covid19.
The meeting which was successfully held at the party Secretariat along Owerri-Okigwe Road Owerri,amidst fun fare gave maximum hope to some cross sections of women from the 27 LGA of the state who were in attendance.
According to Madam Sososo, ” these women have been very steadfast in following and supporting Governor Hope Uzodinma for so many years ago.
And they have worked assiduously before, during and after the 2019 guber polls in Imo State that brought our own man, father and brother as Governor. We are very happy and we must continue to drum support for the 3R’s leadership mantra of Governor Uzodinma. He has to make Imo State happy”.
The Imo APC Woman Leader, Mrs.Nnoham, who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor, while speaking, encouraged the women never to relent in their support for the success of the govt.of the day in Imo.
She applauded the women for their collective support towards the rural women campaign against the spread of Covid19 in their various villages, even as she extolled the Governor for his proactiveness on the ongoing combat against the spread of Coronavirus.
The Woman Leader, however charged the women to continue to maintain social/physical distancing, regular washing of their hands and constant wearing of their face/nose masks.
“But let me tell you people as my fellow women,the govt.of Gov.Uzodinma must carry every woman in Imo State along. As you can see, the Governor in his recent political appointments have given over five (5) women positions as Commissioners, whereas about six (6) women have been appointed as Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants. More women shall be gainfully empowered under the administration of Gov.Hope”, Nnoham assured.
