Court To Resume Hearing Of Justice Danladi Umar Case For Assaulting Security Personnel

A  Federal High sitting at , Maitama FCT over Justice Umar Danladi’s challenging the jurisdiction of the Senate to investigate him is coming up before court 6  today.

Justice Umar at the last sitting of the Senate last year , in his effort to escape  the wrath of the Senate having brutally assaulted one Clement Sargwak at Banex plaza , ran to the High Court to Challenge the jurisdiction of the Senate to investigate him.

All eyes and ears of Nigerians and the international community are keenly awaiting and watching for the outcome of this case.

Counsel to the plaintiff , Barr. Timzing Ramnap Esq , who is the lawyer that petition Justice Umar Danladi before the court urged the Federal High court commence proper hearing into the assault of Clement Sargak the victim .

Justice Umar Danladi told  the Senate that he is also joining the suit as a joinder in other to ensure the Justice he has started fighting for the assaulted Security Man.

Justice Danladi Umar who refused to appear before the Senate committee on right and privileges filed a suit to challenge the position of the committee investigating him .

Timzing Ramnap who argued that the senate has the jurisdiction to entertain the petition told the committee to suspend further hearing until the determination of substantive matter in court .

However, the jurist failed to appear before the petition committee and was not either represented by a counsel.
