Coronavirus: 3 Chinese Quarantined In Wase LGA, Plateau

About three Chinese miners mining in Wase Local Government Council of Plateau state on Friday was has been quarantined to test for Coronavirus following their return from China few days ago.

 

The Plateau State commissioner of Health, Dr. Nimkong Ndam, confirmed to our medium on Saturday that information available that the three Chinese are under surveillance under the supervision of the state ministry of Health.

 

The commissioner said the Chinese were suspected having arrived the state on Friday from aboard Ethiopian airline to continue their mining activities.

 

According to him, the of them have been isolated at a centre for proper investigation by the health workers who have been sent to the area since Friday.

 

The community of Zurak is suburb of the LGA headquarters with abundance  of solid mineral deposits for mining activities.
