Congress Of Northern Nigerian Christians Congratulates Bishop Amfani On His Election As Bishop Of Anglican Archbishop Of Jos

The Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians, CNNC FCT Chapeter and CNNC National Youths has congratulated Bishop Ibrahim Markus Amfani, on his election as the new Anglican Archbishop-Elect of Jos.

In a statement signed by Engr Daniel David Kadzai, Chairman, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians (CNNC FCT) who is also the National Youth President, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians (CNNC), he said; “On behalf of the fellowship of the Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians (CNNC Fct Chapter) and CNNC National Youth, I would like to congratulate for well deserved election as Anglican Archbishop of Jos. We are confident that your spiritual leadership will promote the ecumenical endeavours of the Church in Nigeria, its mission work and theological contributions.”

Speaking further, Kadzai said,; “While we admire your contributions as a church leader to Christian faith and unity, I especially would like to offer my heartfelt prayers on the beginning of your new ministry as Archbishop of Jos. I pray that when you take up this new role, God’s empowering love will surround you, as you serve communities and deal with the challenges especially at such a time such as this in our nation.”

Dear Rt Rev’d Markus,

On behalf of the fellowship of the Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians (CNNC Fct Chapter) and CNNC National Youth, I would like to congratulate for well deserved election as Anglican Archbishop of Jos.

 

We are confident that your spiritual leadership will promote the ecumenical endeavours of the Church in Nigeria, its mission work and theological contributions.

We believe that your role as a church leader will be able to guide congregations and churches in our country and beyond for just and peaceful societies, with positive participation of both women and men.
