Ex-YOWICAN President Achieves Another Feat As Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians FCT Chapter Elects Him Chairman

The immediate past President of Youths wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) Engr Daniel David Kadzai has achieved another feat, this is he has been elected Chairman of the Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians, FCT Chapter.

It would be recalled that the Congress of the Northern Nigeria Christians, was inaugurated in November 2017 and on the 26th October 2018 the  CNNC FCT CHAPTER conducted free and fair elections at First Baptist Church Gimbiya Street Garki Abuja, where the ex-youth CAN President Daniel  Kadzai was elected as the FCT Chapter Chairman.

During the election, 43 delegates were accredited and 5 Electoral Colleges as well as 7 Election monitoring team that was sent from the National Headquarters to supervise the election.

At the end of the exercise, Engr Daniel Kadzai the immediate past national President Youth Wing of CAN (YOWICAN) was elected unopposed with 42 votes

It would be recalled that the newly elected CNNC Chairman of FCT, Engr Daniel David Kadzai also a few weeks ago emerged the president of a coalition of Christian groups for good governance (CCGG).

The meeting which was presided over by the unanimously elected BOT Chairman Prof. Adeniyi Ojutiku had in attendance other BOT members.

The members comprises of the National officers, Zonal Coordinators, Women Affairs Coordinator, Students Affairs Coordinator, the Diaspora Affairs Coordinator, and representatives of CCGG collaboration partners: NACCYON, PVC, Arewa Christians and Indigenous Pastors Association (ACIPA), Christian Youth Integrity Group, YOWICAN, National Christian Youth Assembly, Nigeria Faith-Based Organization, USA Association of Nigeria Northern Christian Traditional Ruler etc.

Speaking Prof Ojutiku said: “On this day 9th Oct 2018, Coalition of Christian Groups for Good Governance (CCGG) elected New Executives. Engr Daniel David Kadzai was elected as the President. Elder Bola Alawode, National Secretary. Rev Mathew Yunanah, Treasurer and the National Publicity Secretary Amb. Perry Ndubusir respectively.”
