A concerned Nigerian, ESV Johnson Y. Podar has said, he was taken aback, perplexed, bewildered and overwhelmed by the ugly and sad incident of 10th and 14th January 2023. which claim the PEOPLE DEMOCRATIC PARTY supporters’ lives and others sustained various degrees of injuries while returning from campaign flag-off scheduled across the state as a build-up to the forthcoming general elections.
While am yet to recover from the shock and am misty-eyed, I want to hereby extend my sincere empathy to the entire PDP state executive, stakeholders, flag-bearers, and the citizens of the plateau.
It is said that he who weeps for others remembers himself. I pray to the almighty God to grant the families of those who lost their loved ones, PDP families, plateau citizens, and all meaningful Nigerians the fortitude to accept the unfortunate incident.
I pray for a successful and hitch-free general election without any rancor. sadness is not in what we have but in what we have missed.
