An aspirant for the National Deputy Youth Leader of the All Progressive’s Congress Comrade Solomon Yanet-Ndam has stressed the need for a National Development Agenda that will focus on issues that affect the people.
Declaring his intention to run for the office in Jos, Yanet-Ndam said the absence of such platforms has created a void of Religious and ethnic differences as well as other motives capable of disuniting the Country.
Yanet-Ndam said he will encourage the repositioning of the party for a United Nigeria and build the capacity of leaders and members to impose administration, organization, and financial management as well as ensure proper management of the Party.
He stressed the need to promote and service the concept of separation of powers under the Presidential System of Government between the three arms of Government.
Yanet-Ndam said that if elected as Deputy National Youth Leader of the APC, he will reposition and reorganize the Party based on its Philosophy of Social Democracy which means People Oriented membership-driven and mass base political Organization.
He said he will give attention to article 25 of the APC Constitution which provides that all conventions of the Party are held as and when due as well as organise annual platforms to review the activities of the Party as well as Governments elected under the Platform of the Party.
The Aspirant said the APC must be seen to operate on the basis of its rules, which is the Party Constitution and other laws of the Federation as they relate to the formation and administration of Political Parties.
